This adapter allows you to mount an XT60E-M connector to a surface on an airplane's structure without the need for a precision cut mounting pattern. Originally designed to go in place of the the EC3 mount in SkyWing aircraft with their 15x15mm square hole pattern, but any hole large enough to fit the XT60 through it with space around it to drill the same 15x15mm pattern will also work. Use regular servo screws to attach it to the airframe.
You will need to make holes in the area to allow the M2.5x8 screws which attach the XT60E-M to the mount to go slightly into the structure since they poke out by around 0.8mm (see photo 4). You will also need to modify the XT60E-M slightly if it is the newer version with the wings on each side (see photo 5)
