A pretty well known issue on the iCharger Duos (306 Duo, 308 Duo, 4010 Duo) is that balancing will never complete and the charge cycle never completes (or takes an extremely long time). You will typically notice a very low actual charge rate (usually less than 1A) and one of the cells being discharged at full power.
This is normally caused by failure of a transistor in the balancing circuitry of the charger. Failure can be caused simply by age, or by a short circuit or other fault on the balance port(s). The failed transistor means that even though it is telling the cell to discharge at full power, the transistor is not working and thus no discharging is actually occurring. Since the charger is trying to also balance the cells, if it's unable to discharge a cell the charge cycle will never end (unless you have a charge time limit set up).
1. Once your order is placed, you will receive an email with an address to ship your device(s) to. If possible, print out your order receipt and put it inside your package.
2. Send out your device(s). Email us with tracking information if available so we know when to expect it. Once received, work will begin.
3. Once the repair is completed, it will be shipped back to you and the order marked as fulfilled. If for some reason it is not repairable (e.g. due to unrelated damage), you will be refunded minus shipping cost and the unit will be returned to you.
Note:
By default there is a $10 charge to add shipping insurance to the shipment from us. If you opt not to add shipping insurance (select "No" on the product page), we cannot and will not be liable for loss or damage in shipping to/from us. Shipping insurance is only an additional $10 and will protect you if USPS/UPS decide to throw your package out the back of the truck. Seeing as many of the items sent for repair are quite expensive, it's highly recommended that you do not waive the insurance charge.
This service will most likely void your manufacturer's warranty.

Amazing work! Was THE ONLY place in the U.S. I could find that fixes and specializes in iChargers. Will use again when needed.
My iCharger would, at times, not finish a balance charge. Keith had the patience and went the extra mile to analyze the problem, and made the repair. Works like new again. Thank you!
Great job finding the problem !
