Use this adapter board to convert your 20x20 ESC/FC Stack to fit on most 180-200 size micro helicopters with Picoblade 1.25mm servo connectors.  This is a custom adapter/breakout board which features 3 servo outputs and a JST-GH 4-pin UART connector for your receiver.  The PCB measures 41x27mm and is totally flat on the bottom to allow direct mounting to your heli with double sided tape.  These boards are designed and hand assembled by KC3D.

This product includes:
1 x FC Adapter PCB (Preassembled)

You will need:
Thin Silicone Hookup Wire (32-28awg)
20x20 ESC + FC Stack
M2 Mounting Hardware/Standoffs (Usually Included with Stack)

Notes:
This board has built in M2x0.4 threaded inserts.  This is to allow screwing the FC stack directly to the adapter board from the top.  You should ensure that the screws you use do not penetrate past the bottom surface of the PCB, so that you can mount the PCB flush to a mounting surface using double sided tape.  If necessary, use shorter screws (or cut them shorter) or install extra nuts in the stack.  Be sure to apply Loctite to the screw threads to prevent them from backing out.

Use thin silicone wire to make jumps from your FC to the various solder pads on the adapter board.  Keep the wires as short as possible to minimize cramping, and especially for the GND and +5V connections, to reduce voltage drop.

Whatever FC/ESC Stack you decide to use must have a sufficiently beefy 5V power supply rail because that is what will be powering your servos.  These micro heli servos aren't super power hungry, but you should ensure your 5V rail is capable of at least 1.5A, preferably 2A or more, for helis like the OMPHOBBY M2.  There are capacitors on the adapter board to help aid in power filtering for the servo voltage rail.

The UART Connector follows the Rotorflight reference design spec and is a JST-GH connector with the following pinout: - + RX TX

In our own OMP M2, we are using the SpeedyBee F7 Mini stack.  It has worked well so far.
