Color customizations are available.  If you do not provide any customization requests either by email or order notes, all of the printed parts will be the color you choose while ordering.  Any of the printed parts can be printed in a different color, but it must be explicitly requested.  In addition, on cases that have it, you can also choose to exclude the auxiliary power output or the USB power outlet.

Note: This charge case has been updated.  The magnets used for the storage bin are now 6x3mm cylinder magnets.  The overall storage area has also increased slightly.  Product photos do not show this change currently.

By popular request, we've decided to make available a set of the printed parts for our charge cases.  Some people prefer to build their own cases, but still like the designs.  If you are one of those people, this kit is for you.  If you are not technically inclined and able to improvise, this kit is not for you.

Currently, there are no instructions available.  For most questions on assembly, you can refer to the images.  The cases, while not super complex, do take some skill to assemble due to how tightly packed they are, as well as the possibility of incorrect wiring causing damaged components, personal injury, or even a fire (worst case). And because you will be working with AC power wiring, please be careful.  Double, triple, quadruple check wiring before powering up for the first time.  It's best to wire a little at a time, check for functionality, and then keep going rather than wire everything up at once and hope it works.  We are not liable for any personal or property damage caused by improper assembly of your charge case.

Only the 3D printed parts are included in these kits - no hardware*, electronics, or accessories.

*some hardware may be preinstalled and the deck partially assembled just to make shipping easier.  However, it will not be all hardware needed for the build.

Q&A:

Q: The deck and bezel are warped.  Is that going to be a problem?
A: No.  They may be warped when you get them, such is the nature of 3D printing huge pieces of plastic unfortunately.  However, once the pieces are all screwed together, the warping will be taken care of.

Q: I bought exactly the hardware mentioned in the BOM below, and I'm missing some screws.  Help?
A:  It's probably a mistake on our part.  Since we build the fully assembled cases as we go, keeping track of screws used isn't an exact science... normally we just grab screws as needed.  It's recommended you buy extras of most sizes, just in case.

Q:  I need help!?
A:  Message us on Facebook or email.  Please note that as previously stated these kits have no manuals available currently.  Support is there but will be limited due to time constraints and personnel availability.  Buying this kit implies you are willing to experiment and look at pictures to figure things out yourself.  If you have no idea what you're doing, you probably shouldn't buy a kit.

Q: Do I have to use exactly the components outlined in the BOM?
A: No, of course not.  You can feel free to experiment.  However, do note that most of the printed parts are designed with specific components in mind, so compatibility with other components is not guaranteed.

-ProgressiveRC Panel Mount JST-XH 8s Board x 2
-Female to Female JST-XH 8s Balance Cable (be sure to check polarity)
-XT60E-M x 3 (or two if you don't need the auxiliary output)
-XT60 x 4 (two for each charger)
-USB QC3.0 Panel Mount (or any other 1 1/8"/29mm Dia. 24V Panel Mount Module
-Switched IEC Inlet: Schurter DC11.0031.001 (can be found at Digikey or Mouser)

Hardware:

Deck: M2.5x8 Button Head Screws x 12, M3x14 Countersunk Head Screws x 18
Intake Fans: M3x30 Countersunk Head Screws x 8, M3 Nut x 8
Chargers: M3x8 Countersunk Head Screws x 8
XT60E-M: M2.5x8 Button Head Screws x 2 for each
JST Boards: M3x10 Countersunk Head Screws x 4, M3 Nut x 4
IEC Inlet: M3x12 Countersunk Head Screws x 2, M3 Nut x 2

6 x 3 Round Neodymium Magnet x 8
Super Glue

Nice to haves:

-3/4" Cable Anchors w/ Sticky Backing
-Buck Regulator, can be used to regulate voltage from PSU to power the fans at a lower voltage for less noise and excessive airflow
-XT60H connectors are really nice for the ones that plug into the chargers.  Instead of using heat shrink it just has a plastic shroud that clips onto the connector once soldering is done.

The printed parts can be modified to some extent.  Excluding the auxiliary output XT60 or the USB module are easily done.  Colors can be chosen with the drop-down menu.  If the color you want isn't there, it's because we don't have that color in stock.  Contact us prior to ordering and we will see if we can get some.  Other modifications may be possible, contact us for requests and/or info.  For info on where you can get the items required for assembly, feel free to contact us.

*When using the UHP-1000-24, you must run it with 220VAC or greater to get the full 1000W output power.  On 120VAC, you are limited to around 700W output.  As such, two UHP-500-24 or one RSP-1000-24 is the preferred configuration.
